So he has doubled down on his perception of the NSW cup game.
I didn't see it but from a few posters they have said a few did play well, Mooney and Woolford 2 of them.
He said they were out enthused, like First grade. So what is he looking from Mooney , Woolford and co.

Would have been more changes if NSW Cup hadn’t been so poor…
I imagine if you're Trey Mooney watching that and seeing how Horse and Saulo played last week, you're left scratching your head.

Really starting to get the feeling we're losing Mooney.

Just not having the impact on game result he once did. Partly because of the changing shape of the game which he has no control over.
He dropped an absolute sitter in the Warriors game he was dropped for though, alongside another error...

Why coach Ricky Stuart stuck with the status quo for Canberra Raiders’ Eels clash

Coach Ricky Stuart says he resisted the urge to make mass team changes after Canberra’s NRL capitulation against Cronulla because their second-grade performance was “just as bad”.

“Our first three weeks, winning two out of the first three, I was really happy with the style of football we were playing,” Stuart said. “But let’s just hope that was one of those games last week that we weren’t proud of and we’ve got to forget that now and get back to where we were.”

'It's half a lake out there': Ricky calls for Raiders to soak up mindset

The Canberra Raiders' mega-wet captain's run didn't help them much with their football, but it should help get their mindset right.

I’m not talking about one dropped ball. To be inferring confidence issues you’d be seeing more dropsies than that.

Well... if we must, he did have two errors for the game...

BnM do you think those errors looked like a player lacking confidence? Has this been a pattern with Cotric that makes you think his form is a confidence thing?

Unless you answered “yes” to both of these I’m not sure what your point is.

'It's pretty buzzy': Eagle-eyed kids reunited in lime green

As kids, Matt Timoko and Simi Sasagi were running around playing for Ellerslie Eagles in Auckland. Now they'll line up alongside each other for the Canberra Raiders in the NRL.

"My role will just be simple. Do my thing. I want to be an impact [player] on that right edge," Sasagi said. "Obviously Ata will be starting there and when I come on I just want to do my job and carry on the momentum that Ata starts. That's my goal for this weekend."

If that’s the case, Stuart is doing the right thing not picking him.

TPJ signed with the Broncos at 19 and had hardly played NSW cup. Mooney is 22 in a couple of weeks with nearly50
nsw cup games.

I get the comparison but fair to say Mooney has been a lot more patient and done a lot more.

Sasagi selection proving a winner with him playing well at center in stead of second row.
