He’s an 18 year old for god’s sake. I said that he shouldn’t play first grade for another year because playing games like these is probably going to harm his development. That’s not on him though, that is on the club

The modern day equivalent of Garry Jack would be CNK at FB. Who was brave as hell and a defensive expert but just short of the elite level in attack, even if he ran hard and often.

Again though they are what 6th and 2nd game of first grade. This is what I’m concerned about most with the youth thing. They are going struggle for a couple of years and if we lose like this often then that is going to dent their confidence

Agreed. I think a stint back in NSW Cup will be good for him after experiencing the speed and physicality of NRL.

Tonight Raiders were beaten all over the Park.
The only bright spot was their first 20 minutes but with all that possession they failed to score.
Void of ideas especially when 20m out, this has been an issue for a long time.
I've watched every game and when they get under pressure or behind on the scoreboard they fold, panic make unforced errors.
Yes, we are still learning but tonight was a shackling and I'm not talking about the score.
AND, with Fogarty out for awhile...now what?
