Don't think Galvin will be leaving Tigers. Latu Finau is another young gun who will likely depart. Could be to Penrith.
The fact is, Penrith will always be a factor as long as Nathan is the 7. He makes Scott Sorenson look like an elite player. Anyone who can do that is always going to be a threat.
All I can say is, I am glad we don't have these problems right now. Was excellent business to sign Strange and Chevy long term.
Were you referring to Latu Fainu? The Fainu's are both signed up until 2027.
Galvin is also signed up to end 2026.
Yes, referring to Latu. 5 doesn't fit into 2. The Tigers are overstocked in the halves and I believe he will likely depart. Galvin and Luai will be the halves for a number of years ahead.
Players in that 5 are capable of playing other positions. The tigers will let Sullivan and Sezer go before Fainu.
They signed the brothers as a "package" as they wanted to play together. If some club can accommodate all 3 then sure.
Zim, Latu was the under 19s NSW 5/8 last year - ahead of Strange. He is highly rated. I don't think he will want to sit in reserve grade long. Sullivan and Sezer are reserve graders who won't get a run anywhere else. We will see how it plays out but I'd expect Latu to leave the Tigers for an opportunity.
He won't have to sit in reserve grade long. Just watch the tigers this week. There's 2 fainus on the bench.

It’s spelled and pronounced “Brandon”.
Different player mate.
He's definitely the type of player we should keep an eye on, although he's signed until the end of 2026. The Roosters definitely want to hold onto him.

So where does Latu fit in then? Galvin and Luai in the halves leaves him in reserve grade?
Galvin can play in the second row. Latu can play centre as well. They're athletic and good defenders. They still have size to put on.
From what I read more recently they are looking at Luai to lead the side around too. Which to me sounds like he'll be in the 7. Not how I would line them up but he'll also have a pretty big say in who his halves partner is.
You don't have to play these guys you see in your long term plans as though they are the finished product from day 1.

Brandon or Sandon? I hear they're two different players.

I don’t think Galvin is big enough yet. I’d say he is only about 80-90 kilos. He would have to bulk up a little before he could play in the forwards

Fair enough mate. I think you're having a laugh but I don't care too much about the Tigers anyway. Galvin and Strange look like they will be rivals for many years to come.

Yeah you guys are right. It's much more likely they let a guy go they've signed for 4-5 years or a rare talent leave the club.
They couldn't possibly try to work it out

You talking about Sullivan? He’s that bad they might do what Manly have just done to Schuster. Has to be Luai 7 Galvin 6.

Yeah pretty much. If we wanted him for example they would be happy for us to take him

No. This is a new level of muppetry. I know it's not your fault having come in late..
This is entirely about Fainu not fitting in.

Ah I see. To be fair I’m not that invested in the Tigers, I just wanted to throw the bubble bath line in. Carry on!

Anyone reckon the Panthers would do us a solid and lend us Schneider upon Cleary’s return? He kicks goals and knows our systems.
Why would they? They need a back up halfback.
Although I wouldn’t mind having him back

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate. John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.
