There’s a rumour on the Kennel of Sexton to the Raiders immediately. So maybe 0.0001% chance of that happening.
That would be good as long as it has no influence on Sanders.
Didn't the Titans release Fog to make room for Sexton straight out of school? Eighteen months in he was surplus to requirements there. Now the Dogs are off him. So we are now keen?

It all happens on Tuesday.

Dominoes has half priced pizza on Tuesdays.
Are they half as edible?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Or just do a sneaky swap with Cronulla behind the NRL’s back this week while they are in town.

Does Danny Levi count as a middle? He plays in the middle

Levi for anyone would be a great deal.

But Levi has (the worst) 100 FG games in the bank (as the worst hooker ever in NRL) so he's set to guide our youngsters around.

I guess his skill set is looking tough (tattoos) but defending badly stats wise and in every way in comparison to all his rivals? I mean stats show he cannot create a chance and he's no runner either...

Wow. Pezet would be cool and he held his own when Munster was out. Don’t think Bellamy is that stupid to want one of our hookers though. More likely Guler or Hola

Pezet for a middle would be a slam dunk, not sure it would save our season but it’d have a shot

Would you sign Sanders over Pezet if given the chance if both wanted to come to Canberra ? I’m not saying who should replace Fog now while he’s injured as one guy has been in NSW Cup at least over one year longer and has FG experience

Na I’d sign Pezet over Sanders

There is just less of a risk when you’ve actually seen the guy play NRL level and look the part
So that part of the evaluation is less of a projection
I said at the time we got linked to Sanders that IMO he was second only to Pezet for the best young primary kicking half in game and I still believe that. Both fantastic young players but no question Pezet is further along his development track right now

Is Pezet a halfback or more of a 5/8?

I'm leaning towards 5/8 from what I've seen . I dont see him as a game manager. Its not from a huge sample size though

And it would be dumb to throw a young half to the wolves with no first grade experience. So just drop that train of thought already ****

He’s been a primary kicker before in games where Hughes and Munster have been absent. But typically he’s playing next to one of them and they take on that kicking/organisational responsibility (Harry Grant helps too)

He’d be a better natural compliment to Strange than Weekes imo
Not sure it would win us enough games to make the 8 in Fog’s absence though

I can’t see the Storm loaning him to us for the same reasons the panthers wouldn’t loan up Schneider. The value of having a back up half who they think can hold the forte is more valuable to them than anything we’ve got to (or should) offer

No the delay is due to the rules set down in the collective bargaining agreement.

I think Sanders is only delaying until Thursday because he is having second thoughts…

If this is the case then I am happy if he only comes off the bench this Sunday for us rather than starts.

I think the main reason for the delay in Sanders is that GE refuses to post the official statement

I doubt Pezet would be going anywhere tbh. Why would the storm let him go unless it was a fair dinkum Harry Grant situation. They would have to be able to get him back at any point they like if one of their halves go down. Munster is playing injured and is far from 100%. He will need to be nursed through the season. I'd like Pezet for this season but think it's highly unlikely.

Reports of Hughes leaving Melbourne at some point in the future. Pezet is the Storm's long term halfback.

Also, Pezet knocked back many financially better options when he signed there because he wanted to be in that system for his development. As a Central Coast/Newcastle kid, that's a big decision.

I would be more than happy to loan Pezet on a deal that allows him to go back to the Storm if they need him. Fogarty is out for 12 weeks... if we could get Pezet for even four of those weeks it would help us immensely.
