To celebrate the 30th season, The Greenhouse has already conducted a series of polls this year to determine the top 30 moments in Canberra Raiders history. Now, as the season rounds out, we'll be conducting a series of polls to determine The Greenhouse 30 Years Dream Team... the best squad of 17 players in the Canberra Raiders history.

Some years ago, a similar vote was taken and this was the result:

1. Gary BELCHER
2. John FERGUSON
3. Mal MENINGA (c)
4. Peter JACKSON
5. Noa NADRUKU
6. Laurie DALEY
7. Ricky STUART
13. Bradley CLYDE
12. David FURNER
11. Ruben WIKI
10. Glenn LAZARUS
9. Steve WALTERS
8. Sam BACKO

14. Brett MULLINS
15. Jason CROKER
16. Brent TODD
17. Chris O'SULLIVAN

So has the passing of an additional five years or so made a difference?

In familiar fashion, we'll take it position by position. Players need to have played 40 or more first grade games to qualify to be part of each poll. If you'd like to vote for a player not mentioned in the poll, you just have to post the player's name.

So to the final spot in the pack, lock. You may change your initial vote later. Here are the nominations:

Fensom doesn't get a look in as an option at least?

Having said that though its a lay down Misere for Clyde.

There's a 40 game minimum, and Fensom's unfortunately only played 39. But like you said, Clyde's got this in the bag.

Huh. Fensom just seems such a fixture in the side now, I didn't imagine he had only played 39 games.

He hasn't done enough in firsts, IMO. If the poll were taken in five years time, and he keeps up, then maybe, but in any event, if people want to vote for someone not in the poll, they just have to post their vote in the thread. :)

Clyde hands down, but in 5-10yrs I can see Fensom pushing Clyde into the second row.
I bow down to thee oh great Nickman, the wisest of the wise, your political adroitness is unsurpassed, your sagacity is unmatched, your wisdom shines through on this forum amongst us mere mortals as bright as your scalp under the light of a full moon, never shall I doubt your analytical prowess again. You are my hero, my lord, my savior, may you accept my offerings so you continue to bless us with your genius.

I can still remember Graeme Hughes screaming "Clyde" as he goes on another foray in the 1989 Grand Final.

I would have voted for Tongue, but I see him more as a dummy half these days, so Clyde it is.

Justin Carney.. Just for that one time at Parra with the split scrum thing and the penalty and the loss and the sad walk back to the train station... ahhh.. Alright Clyde..
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"
