A very polished and very professional performance by the Aussies against the Kiwis .... if anyone sees the replays have a look at Kaspers attempt at a catch on the sidelines ... it went for a six off his hand but the big guy got so far off the ground you wouldnt believe.

I think the rest of the world has lost interest in cricket. So boring these days when Aussie are a million miles ahead of anyone.

Yep, I think that the Aussies should be made to bat holdng the willow at the wrong end for the last ball in every over. Or maybe the Aussie bowlers should have to bowl wrong handed, with the other tied to the top of their legs for the last two balls of every over

Great effort by the Aussies to win what ended up to be a very tight game.

The other teams in world cricket are pretty closely matched (except for the obvious minnows).

I say enjoy the domination while it lasts and applaud any team that can get close to the Aussies for even one match. It isn't going to last for more than 2-3 more years. There are obviously some brilliant players who you can't simply replace.... McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist... once these fellas go Australia will come back to the pack. They will still be competitive, but they won't dominate as they have for the last 5-6 years (I think they have lost only one test series, against India in 2001).

The sad thing is other teams are waiting for the Aussies to fall over rather than raising their own standards to try and replicate the quality of cricket the Aussies are consistently producing.

The Ausies are a very professional outfit. Every player has a laptop which Buchanan can utilise to assist in evaluating a players performance and attempt to rectfy any problems that he sees or that the player has requested him to sort out. Apparently they are the only cricket team in the world that uses this system.

Btw we finished with 5/264 with Hussey and Clarke putting on a great display of sensible recovery batting.

THe Kiwis are currently 11/37 after the 12th ... a run a ball effort is required from here for them to stay in the series.

Andrew Symonds ... what an absolute freak ... the guy has just brilliantly run out both the Marshall twins leaving the Kiwis in deep **** ... great stuff big boy ... he also bowled his 10 for 1/37.

Kiwis are 149 for 5 and but have a disparity between runs and balls remaining 116 runs from 78 balls .... Cairns has just been dropped but the Aussies usually tighten the screws fairly well at this stage ... it will need something big from the Kiwis to win this one.

Great catch by Hussey !!! .. Cairns out ... Kiwis pushing **** up hill

6/161 .. effectively 7/161 as Papps had to go to hospital following a bouncer from Lee earlier on ... hit his helmet (2nd time) but you could see the lump growing as they took the helmet off.

Ha, another down the ice-cream man Vittori sniks to Gilly of Hogg ... all of a sudden the Kiwi crowd is very quite.

End of the 25th and its 2/166 .... we're looking at 350 plus with Symonds, Clarke, Hussey to come not to mention Lee if he gets on to a few.

Gilly was out for 91 in about 60 odd balls .... great effort.
