Re: NFL Thread
Cards not trading, which is a big shift from their MO. Taking MHJ who is the best of a very strong WR class.

Great... we have to deal with Nabers at WR twice a yr. GMen go offense.

The first contentious pick of the draft. Giants go with Malik Nabers instead of JJ McCarthy. Giving Jones a target instead of drafting his replacement.

I'm not shocked. They paid Danny Dimes. They had to give him weaponsNorthern Raider wrote: ↑April 26, 2024, 10:54 am The first contentious pick of the draft. Giants go with Malik Nabers instead of JJ McCarthy. Giving Jones a target instead of drafting his replacement.

Oooo... interesting.
Tits go OL. Latham. Will he play inside or outside?
Not my 2nd OLmen either. I have Fuaga and Fautano ahead.

Re: NFL Thread
Another predictable one with Titans adding JC Latham.
Surprise free draft so far. Should get a little more interesting from this point as there's less consensus.

Their O-Line stinks. Latham is an elite RT. The pick makes a ton of sense.Matt wrote: ↑April 26, 2024, 11:07 amI didn't have Latham here. I had 1 of the "Fs"Northern Raider wrote: ↑April 26, 2024, 11:03 am Another predictable one with Titans adding JC Latham.

3rd WR. Wow. Odunze to Bears. Williams gets a new weapon immediately.
My prediction is a little off... maybe it's 3WR 2 CBs?
Let's see

Re: NFL Thread
It's a great pick. Adding their QB then giving him a target with your next pick. Genuine top 10 talent still on the board was a no-brainer.

Yeah it's a good move. I just though they might go elsewhere having added pieces on offense.Northern Raider wrote: ↑April 26, 2024, 11:14 amIt's a great pick. Adding their QB then giving him a target with your next pick. Genuine top 10 talent still on the board was a no-brainer.

Re: NFL Thread
That fell nicely for Vikings. Many had them trading up to 4 or 5 to pick up McCarthy. He almost fell to them at 11 and decided not to risk it and moved up 1 spot.
Jets move down a spot and will still get the guy they want.

My prediction sinks right there with the 3rd OL off to protect Jordan Love.
That's my #2 OL gone.

Yeah, with these reaches at QB there's plenty of top 10 talent falling into the teens. No defensive players taken yet.

Bowers at 13 is a great get for Raiders. He can be a long term mainstay of their offense.

Re: NFL Thread
Had to go hang out the washing.
Bowers TE to Raiders. Poor guy gonna get wasted.
OL going on a run, Fauga to Saints. I'm worried about Dallas now. This hasn't stretched as far as I'd hoped. Esp with no D off the board.
1st D man off the board. The not so retired Latu to Colts.

Seahawks pick Byron Murphy DT.
Feels like a very seahawks pick.
Nasty, motor guy. Little small, but the chip on his shoulder makes him scary, so he plays bigger.

Vikings trading up Via Jags.
Vikings grab Dallas Turner. LB. Here's more edge than LB, but still. Reminds me of Sam Williams at Dallas.
