Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Those photos are great. I finally got myself a DSLR camera on the weekend after wanting one for ages. Hopefully one day I will be taking photos as good as those.

Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Mrs Fui organised a sleep over at Taronga for my birthday (For those who haven't done it, do it. Its awesome)
Anyway, the next morning we get a private tour of the animals. This Lion was just doing laps around the den and was going too fast for anyone to get a decent shot.
Determined I whipped out my Galaxy, set it to sport mode and with 1 chance to pull off the shot before he ran past, took what I think is the best photo I have ever taken.
Almost wanted to throw the phone away, knowing I will never take anything this good again

If you want to pay all my expenses etc, yes
Re: Azza's Photo Thread
This is my first print for sale, seems to be getting a good reaction at the local markets. It is a 42x16 inch print , framed (black, with white matte) and mounted - I got one for my folks' place, looks awesome.
I doubt there will be much interest here and that's cool, but if anyone is interested, let me know and I can give you price details incl shipping (not a small amount to be fair, it's several hundred dollars but I am stoked with the result).
Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Unsurprised by the interest in it. Great shot.
My wife and i tend to go with beach shots for our place, so keep us updated about shots you are putting up for print, because yours are definitely worth considering. Fantastic stuff

Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Thank you fellas , much appreciated.
Nick, the only beach one I'm doing at the moment is the one of Phillip Island, but it really depends if you have an interest in any others, as they can be arranged for print too. The canola one is printed and framed, whereas the Phillip Island one is a square shot and is facemounted onto acrylic - so no frame, but looks great in its own right. It is probably around 1m mark each side. It looks pretty good.
I'd probably just do the print at cost + shipping for fellow Raiders supporters , as I'm just trying to build my profile at the moment.

Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Thanks mate, ill definitely keep it in mind, i'd say sometime early in the new year we'd be looking to add something to the house on an empty wall, there is some beautiful beach shots in your collection.
Re: Azza's Photo Thread
No worries. Yeah I don't do as much beachy stuff nowadays, but always happy to do some stuff if you had specific things you were looking for.

Re: Azza's Photo Thread
All good Steve, I don't mind and welcome other people posting up their favourite snaps - so long as it isn't some forum nuffie posting up crap.
Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Both great but that second one looks more like computer graphics, awesome effect

Re: Azza's Photo Thread
Ok I give in. As a fellow raiders fan, any chance of a discount on the above print? keep in mind, I'll spruik your work.
Re: Azza's Photo Thread
I don't at this point actually sell any of my prints commercially mate, so I just print them for people on a request basis. I could look at doing it for you if you really like it, just PM me if you like.

Re: Azza's Photo Thread
I love this thread.
I don't know how you do it Azza. You must view the world through the eyes of a camera lens and plan your holidays around capturing scenes that combine some of those amazing colours. All of these photos are great, but some of them are just unreal. Well done.

This is just getting weird now.
But thanks one and all for the positive thoughts - it encourages me to keep going, getting up at crazy hours and hauling my camera gear around the world to share these moments in time with you for your enjoyment.
