Oh, you want a good one? Well that changes things.
Re: Drinking...
So what's everybody's favorite beer or alcoholic beverage? Mines stone and wood pacific ale and white rabbit dark ale both are delicious.

I can't quite decide whether Albi would be an angry drunk or one that keeps getting his old fella out, but I'm almost certain he's one of the two...

Two of my favourite tipples at the moment are rum and milk, or a lager with a dash of sarsaparilla cordial.

Re: Drinking...
You still enjoying Beez Neez, Muse? I'm over it - you can only have about 3 or 4 before it gets unbearable for some reason. I find the same with Coopers Green. Great for a few but not if you're having much more.Decorous Muse wrote:Anything not produced by James Squire
I've been drinking Red Horse for the past month or so. It's a San Miguel beer - not bad at all.

Jokes aside, I've met people recently who drink the things I mention. I actually don't.
I'd never tarnish rum with milk, especially since I'm lactose intolerant. And the only thing that goes in my beer is my nose occasionally when I tip the schooner too far up.

St Emilion Chateau Fombrauge 1996
Available at Dan Murphy's for $70 a bottle - first time I've seen it for less than a hundred. A lot of money for a bottle of wine, but if you owe yourself a treat pop a bottle of this with a nice piece of steak, particularly if you are a bit new to French wine and want to try something a bit special.
Wow, this was a good drop for the price.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I made the Lager from the brew kit and will start a batch of Canadian Blonde or Mexican Cerveza on Saturday.craigo wrote:I do a fair bit of home brewing myself what is it you like to make?LP Raider wrote:I'm starting to home brew.
Really am a novice however I'm pretty excited in making my own beer, we have a guy at work who is a guru and I think everyone at the factory I work at has been to his house for a beer.
He pretty much has told me sterilise and temperature are the most important things.
I found plenty of recipes mixes with the coopers kit on customise your coopers on google, when I've made a few basics I'll try different them out.

Rosemount Shiraz. The big cask, not the little one. Best kept in the fridge and served over ice.Begbie wrote:Please mate, this is a rugby league forum.T_R wrote:St Emilion Chateau Fombrauge 1996
