Watched the first two episodes and still not excited by it.

Finished watching Z Nation though for a zombie fix, **** best ending to a series ever

I view it more like training video; the GEs of this world are cactus when the zombies come.

FTWD is a poor relation to TWD, which means it's not quite as ABSOLUTELY FRICKIN' AWESOME as the original.

Also, Im drunk at lunchtime again.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I thought it was a one season show until you just made me look it up, how the **** do they continue it after hundreds of nuclear missiles have been fired over America

Edit: Thanks Doc, Netflix only had season 1 but found 2 on Daily Motion app on PS4.

I watch it, but it's not as good as TWD.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

No its not as good as TWD, but I'm not sure that its a fair comparison. TWD is a well established series in its 6th season. This series is just starting its second (short) season. Its focused on a very different part of the timeline compared to TWD, that being the early days which TWD leap frogged. It doesn't have me on the edge of my seat like TWD, but I'm enjoying it.

Obviously it's not as good as TWD but few shows are. It still makes for a good Monday night fix. I like that the Zombies are much 'fresher' and that the survivors haven't really worked out how to kill them yet.

Watched Episode 3

One of the better ones yet. The Chris character is developing nicely after I was hoping he'd get ripped to shreds in the first season

That's what I find. TWD had Rick, Shane and Morgan in the first episode, and you go on to meet Glen, Dale, Daryl and Merle.

FTWD has a stoner that lacks any sort of charm, a interracial couple that have absolutely zero chemistry. In fact Travis and Madison NEVER smile. They are so bloody dour and dull.
Alicia is eye candy, but a dimwit.
Chris is just a sook.
Daniel is getting a bit tiresome.
Ofelia... Like Beth from TWD she has no purpose

I enjoy watching it, but I do hope the characters become more likeable.

The only likeable character I find is the old Mexican dad.

Ps Dubby he's a junkie not a stoner :P

Daniel is annoying. Suspicious of everything, yet he's the one who tortured a marine and has lied to his daughter about his past.

Thanks for correcting me on the delicate balance between stoner and junkie Image Image

Just watched Episode 3. Definitely digging it. But we're halfway through the season? It needs to be longer.

Alex is looking like an interesting character.

You reckon? I doubt that. They've quickly painted her as a badass and made her pretty interesting in limited time. Her and burns victim will make it back. We've yet to find out why Alex owes her life to him yet.

Hey Doc just finished s02e08 of Z Nation, I keep wondering how they can get weirder each episode and introducing aliens has to take the cake, they've already nuked a fridge literally I'm now waiting for them to jump an actual shark, bizarre show but I'm loving it
