7th min TRY EELS to Semi Radradra. He runs 100 metres to score... the referee goes to the bunker to check the grounding, but there's no issue. The Cowboys tactic of kicking to the corner comes unstuck. Mitchell Moses converts from in front.

Eels 6-0

Semi has an amazing ability to turn a kick defense into an attacking play

Try to the Cowboys. Immediate strike back. This could be a very entertaining game if it continues like this.

11th min TRY COWBOYS to Kyle Feldt... The referee said NO TRY on the advice of the touch judge, but he planted it before he went out. The bunker overrules, correctly. Awesome try. Lowe with an amazing kick from the sideline... it looked like it would be well wide and it curled right in.

Yep really enjoyable game, especially compared to the boring wrestling and block plays that teams like the Broncos successfully dish up.

Yep. Why the NRL doesn't encourage this style of football more is beyond me.

31st min TRY EELS to Will Smith... he goes almost the length of the field after the Eels regather a rebound. Unlucky, as Lachlan Coote was held back chasing. The Cowboys looked like they were getting the better of the contest... but the Eels have now had two runaway tries. No conversion.

Moses misses the conversion, score remains 10-6 after 32 mins. Ethan Lowe can get credit for chasing smith and saving 2 points by forcing a conversion from out wide

Eels want to be defending their tryline more. It creates all their try scoring opportunities.

Your 100% correct. The way the NRL sets the agenda and the way the Referees adjudicate the game rewards safety first football and rewards slowing down the ruck as the most effective defensive technique.

46th min TRY COWBOYS to John Asiata, he just steals the ball from Smith after a bomb from Morgan. Converted Lowe.

Good game.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

52nd min TRY COWBOYS to Coen Hess. It's a great try and now there's a dust up. They're looking for an illegality... Cameron King comes in with the knees, late. There look to be some punches as well in the aftermath. Ma'u the offender. Could be an eight point try. The bunker confirms the try. There's no other action. Converted.
