More credible than radicalraider, though that's not hard
I think he's got a lot of red flags... not willing to quite give up on his NRL dreams at the age of 25 and settle into a lesser level of competition is not one of them

Not wanting to give up the NRL dream at 25 is a good call. Doing an interview with a Super League focused news outlet that basically says - “if everything else fails for me I guess I’ll reluctantly have to consider lowering myself to your hot mess steaming pile of a competition” is a bad call.

Me too. The game as a whole is becoming very, very boring. Half the time it turns into a glorified version of Oztag.

It's the team, not the game. You seriously believe that fans of the top teams are complaining about the rule changes?

Don't particularly care what they think. I'm sure they are loving it.
The game is losing its intensity. I used to quite enjoy watching games not involving the Raiders as I could just appreciate the contest. Now I have negligible interest in watching our games because we suck, and less than zero interest watching other games.

And we would be loving it too if we were playing well. We were a pretty boring side to watch for a few years there, aside from the occasional brilliance from Leipana and we were the hottest ticket in town.

Matt Dufty! The bloke just did a runner from the cops because he is a **** idiot.
Is this still a thing?
Apparently he ran 5kms to his house.
Did anyone happen to get the time he ran it?
Based on our current performances, I am not sure many of our squad would make the 5kms. If we were to get him, he might just be the fittest bloke we've got!!

Scroll back a page Bay53 - you’ll find his Strava path and time. It looks average but factor in he had half a case under one arm, had to double back for his wallet an one point and needed 3 leaks and the lad was positively flying!
I honestly believe that if Simmo didn't have that one-off blinder against the Broncos and Dufty didn't have the worst game of his life against the Bulldogs the same round, we sign him for next year. It seems that one week was enough for us to say "Dufty sucks we don't need him, we have Simmo".

If you believe that you'll believe anything.

Like Dufty has signed with us already for 3 years?

Nobody believed that one

The raiders were VERY clearly IN on this guy. And then very clearly out, even when the guy **** on the ESL as an option
The only logical conclusion is the vaguely referenced "off field" issues were discovered by the club and they decided this was not for them
I dont think this has anything to do with on field abilities. The club surely knew his pros and cons. They must have studied the tape. What changed is the character.

I’m hearing he was in Don’s office with pen in hand about to sign when a character reference from Curtis Scott fell out of his top pocket
I give the Raiders absolutely no benefit of the doubt here. If these off field issues were that worrying, I think they would have leaked by now
I would say something happened whereby Sticky got the shts and drew a line in the sand, cut him off like he did GWilly... could have been something as simple as asking too much money
How the meeting with the club went, and how the meeting with the club was reported are more than likely two very different things.
If the meeting was a total train wreck that left Ricky shaking his head do you really think he would publicly say so? Why trash the kid and discourage future players meeting with the club? Of course you say it was a positive meeting as you slowly back away….

Except for all the positive details that were reported from the meeting by Ricky, included at the link.
