Timoko just has to wait for Croker to get another 600 points.

We've extended 3 outside backs in the last 2 weeks including 2 players who are currently centres, we have a club captain and legend on a long term deal (for how much longer, who knows?), we've sniffed around Hines and Dufty and publically leaked that we'd be interested in moving CNK to the backline to accomidate a fullback if we got one.

the club hasnt leaked even the mildest defence for Scott and earlier this year sacked young players for lying to the club. Where as with his situation last year and Tom Starling, the coach and club offered very early support for those players indicating intention.
They stood him down from all activities, let him piss off to Sydney and didnt even both considering bringing him into Camp QLD with us. And the only comment we've got from media insiders have been to say his career is in serious jeapordy and that he may have played his last game for the club.

I've been wrong before and ill be wrong again. But i will be stunned if he's kept. Everything that has happened since the incident surface leads me to beleive the club is planning its future without Curtis Scott

We've got a glut of kids coming through who have proved they can hold their own and excel, which we didn't have when we signed him.

I doubt he would've been re signed past this deal, but his stupidity has given the club a get out free card

So what’s the betting market on where he is going to show up? ESL would be hot favourite I guess but without too my science or thought I’m going to say he will sign with Manly on a cheap deal. They don’t mind a bad boy and Dylan Walker is looking old.

Truly awful signing. All signs pointed to Timoko being ready last season - enough to be persisted with at least. Should've been given the go after we failed to get Lomax.

OR, they bring him in to get Walker to deck him, sack em both and get out of those contracts?
That's truly 4D chess!

Still no statement from the Raiders on the matter... not even posted the story about the NRL breach notice. I've thought for a long time that the Raiders board will terminate the contract.

I wouldn't be shocked to see them keep him either, they might not want to upset the apple cart again by canning another player

Generally terminations are best done carefully but swiftly. Scott will obviously have relationships with players in the squad. Pull that bandaid explain it to the group and move on. But drag it out and don’t be surprised if you get a level of discontent and lose the moral high ground with the group. If he isn’t gone this time next week it’s a fair bet he is staying.

Unfortunately for you Billy boy, the club isnt operating on your time line, or even Curtis's

They'll do things on their time line and i dont really think Scott's standing with the playing group is going to be any factor in that time line.
This is not a long standing member of the squad with deep ties and roots. He's been here 18 months. Whatever "discontent" comes off a potential sacking of Scott wont bother the club whatsoever.

I think it could be as early as next week, but they may decide to hold off on it until Stuart and the team are out of the QLD hub.
This is not a court of law, and Curtis Scott has no contractual rights to my knowledge to a "speedy trial"... he's in breach of his contract and the club can and will take as much time as they please in deciding his future. Which ever way that goes.

The club saw him through his Oz day stuff up, the resulting police assault case and trauma, his leg break/plate injury and then he wasn't straight with them about breaking some guys nose (allegedly) in another drunken incident.

I think most playing groups would accept Curtis has been plenty of support and respect by the club and it hasn't been shown back. And if they can't see that, their standards need lifting.

Hopefully we have something in his contract that allows us to terminate without too much cost. Standard NRL contracts have a lot of protection for the player.
