CNK is making almost as big a case for Savage as Savage is...

29th min Adrian Trevilyan in a bit of trouble. He goes low in the tackle and his head is in the wrong place. Not sure who is going to play hooker if he's ruled out. The Roosters drop the ball five metres from the try line. Trevilyan goes off. Adam Elliott is now the dummy half.

Geez I like Trevilyn
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Raiders 12-6
Pretty sure that was Mooney that missed Whyte first up. Elliott is playing left side

30th min TRY RAIDERS to Corey Harawira-Naera. Great dummy and break from Nicoll-Klokstad and CHN is inside to take the pass. The Raiders have no hookers and one halfback right now. Jarrod Croker converts.

Imagine if we had HSS fit too.

The depth in our backline is ridiculous.

33rd min Lachlan Lam knocks on the Schneider kick on the Roosters' own goal line. Here is a chance. Plenty of blood streaming down Harry Rushton's face from a cut to the forehead.

37th min Good defence from Albert Hopoate, holds up the Roosters over the line. And the Roosters' set ends up with a knock on, just short of the try line.

15 of 21 sets, 4 line breaks, 817 metres, pretty decent for half a trial.

Mooney doesn’t look like a second rower but he hits hard. Should be a good middle. Savage was wonderful - he should be the fullback. Trevilyan looked really good as well so I’m confident when Hodgson leaves. Schneider has had some nice touches as well.

Our backline looks strong. Hoppa has played well actually. But concerned about our backrow and backrow depth

I’m interested to see how Webb and Rushton go in the second half as well as Morkos
