Gotta take the victory laps when i can... Hynes as a halfback, for which i was laughed for suggesting as a Williams replacement... working out rather nicely i'd say!

Yea he's playing well, looks a great buy. Moylan even more surprisingly is looking really good too this year as a half. And I quite like trindall(should be sniffing around him if he doesnt get a crack moving forward)

Talakai unstoppable. One of the most dominant displays from a centre I can remember

Half this forum, or more, was urging our club to show some interest in Hynes but what the hell do any of us know? Our coach was looking far deeper into it than us mugs.

I think Trindall is a good half.

Cronulla surely don’t need Hynes, Moylan, Trindall, Tracey and Metcalf. They’ve gone from having too many fullbacks to too many halves.

I had a memory of wanting him as a half replacement for Williams, but looks like I was wanting him at No. 1, at least at one point, according to the following thread. :opps It will be a memory jogger for you too.

We already have a non-organising, big 5/8 that likes to run the ball. I can’t see Hynes being an organising half back.
He’s still a fair way off top dollar for a fullback. He’d be top dollar for a winger/centre but at the moment you could get away with moving him. Jack on the other hand can’t be moved from the spine at his price. That’s why the Jack -> Lock idea floating around at the moment will never happen.

I think we should all be prepared for CNK to potentially not come back as the player he was. Hard to tell, but it seemed like that injury for BJ hastened his decline and probably triggered a lot of frustration for him.
Happy enough with my contribution to the thread.

Ill embrace anyone who at least saw the ability.
Botman wrote: June 1, 2021, 7:33 pm Didnt the sharks just sign their fullback?
Suppose they're going to play him in the 5/8th spot?

Never mind as above, he's been recruited as a half... guess ill find out if i was right about him being able to play there
Spoiler alert, Botman, you were right

Other teams should win more games, then they'll be given more FTA coverage

I thought they missed a clearly forward pass to Farnsworth in the lead up to the try. If you’re watching on Fox rewind to 13:40 to go and check it out.

Luke Brooks is such a horrible, horrible player. It's a shame for Wests they've made such a horrible decision on him because if him and his contract were gone they could make some handy moves.

julian87 is the best poster on the forum IMO, but don’t agree with this.

Brooks would be decent in a good system. Tigers are - and have been for eons - a **** joke.
