He would have received a penalty for that hit last year, probably a sinbin for a knights player too.

Ponga ruled out after a head knock from good boy Lodge. Keary scores. Looks like knights might be in for a long night after what looked like a more promising start.

Try goes begging for the knights. Big Edrick gets one on the boots from a poor Tuala pass.

Big Edrick involved again. Missing an intercept by inches. Roosters score.
They're throwing it around a lot and getting some luck at the end. A lot of side to side.

I have no idea what that penalty was for. My mistake for not watching the better kayo production.

Knights get a turnover around half way with some good marker pressure. Barnett drops it cold early in the tackle count midfield.

After a Teddy break Suallii out leaps big Edrick on the 5th. Back inside to Teddy to score. 14-2.

Verrills having a bit of a bludger. Few loose ones out of dummy half. Gives away a penalty on the 5th with a late hit on the kicker. Knights on the attack.

Knights end the half with a complete shambles of a set. Roosters 16-2.

You mean like the Ref told the Raiders they could only challenge the touch ruling not whether Charnze was held against the Sharks.

**** incompetent in their inconsistency

What's Suali's best position? Looks like a potentially amazing fullback. Balance, skill, speed and seems to have a good football brain - or at least appears to be a very quick learner.

I couldn't remember it specifically but Rapana getting that 'wild' look in his eyes yelling to challenge it is ingrained in my memory.

Maybe in a couple of years. I think right now wing is his best.

Clune throws a big forward pass. Not sure if Gagai was behind him when he released. Walker with a poor kick to end the attacking set.

Roosters with the ol' razzle dazzle. Ball goes side to side and Tupou scores off a Keary bomb.

I think he's viewed as the long term fullback there
Teddy is 29, the roosters will move him on at the appropriate time.

Knights drop more ball. Roosters start a set in the attacking half. And another penalty. Roosters in the 20.

I be think the issue was that a light hit knocked him senseless enough that he impacted the ground like that.

Could be getting into career threatening stuff

Suuali'i finishes off a slick movement after a strong Watson run. 26-2. Kick to come.
Fitzgibbon has left the field with an injury. Newcastle down to 15 men. This could get ugly.

Yeah there was a lot of Hooper talk about category level head knocks from earlier in the year so he might be missing a game or 2 after this one.

Sualli would be pretty amazing anywhere in the back 5. Best talent I’ve seen for a while.

Inglis and Folou stood out, but not too many like Sualli.

He's getting quickly into the Keary territory where you wonder when family could step in and say "enough"
Lot of concussions

Agreed the love tap wasnt much but his head hit the ground fairly heavily which i think was the biggest issue
Ponga is always going to quit on a no stakes game like this when he can though. I firmly believe that.
