HALF TIME

Rabbitohs 12
Panthers 12

Quite a few chances went astray for both teams.

It has been a very loose game from both teams. I keep finding myself wishing that the Panthers would be beaten, but keep correcting myself, given we want the Rabbitohs to lose.

Not what we needed! Rabbitohs draw level and now they go into the lead for the first time in the game...

There is a clear touch from the Rabbitohs on that kick! You can see the ball change direction.

TRY PANTHERS to Liam Martin! Crichton misses the conversion. One minute to go.

Geez there’s some inconsistency in how long they let the clock run down on a conversion kick.

Well with the Cowboys then Roosters the Rabbits might not win another one. That's our potential 8th spot.

Outside of the Raiders winning each remaining game. The Roosters Souths final round game is likely to be key in the Raiders chances of making the 8.

That was a good loss for us by the Bunnies.

Souths guilty of going for the big play before they've earnt the right to. Was 20 minutes into that second half before they actually worked themselves into it.

This comp is Panthers to lose. Will be interesting to see how Luai and Cleary come back after a lay-off at the wrong time of the year and whether they can beat the Eels, if they meet in the finals.

If bunnies missed the finals they would have to be a contender for one of the best teams ever to not to make the 8.

Like, they obviously wouldn’t be favourites but they are a legitimate title contender on their day.

Their expansive attack looks so effortless, and often puts our insipid dour attack to shame.

Also that is one of the first results to go our way in the run home.

Wouldn’t mind if there are a couple more big upsets this round in the Dogs beating the Eels and the Tigers beating Roosters.

Gee the cows are flat track bullies.

They were spanked by East's last week, but they haven't beaten a top 8 team since the Broncos around origin time.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I was just thinking how i'd love to put a bet on that they dont win a finals game. I could be wrong, i very often am about these things but to me they are a good team, well coached and building nicely but i dont buy into this years team as a genuine premiership contender.

If I knew how to bet, I would do just that.

They're the weakest top 8 team.

Broncos not far behind. Then Parramatta
