Here come the Raiders onto the field now. Lots of new faces, quite a few of the omitted players this week are lined up to welcome the team on. Now the Rabbitohs.

Brayden Darmody kicks off, we are underway.

4th min Jonah Anderson throws a pass in the red zone and it is intercepted by winger Daniel Wright. He's away, but rounded up after making 60 metres. And now...

TRY RABBITOHS to winger Daniel Wright in the corner, off the subsequent play. Converted by halfback Matthew Humphries from the sideline.

6th min TRY RABBITOHS to Matthew Humphries. He took the option to run and he just kept running. The Raiders almost stopped him on the line, but he shrugs them off. Humphries doesn't convert, hits the post.

13th min PENALTY RAIDERS High tackled on Brayden Darmody. It gets the Raiders just over half way.

15th min Daniel Wright nearly over for another Rabbitohs try, but he spills it five metres from the try line.

19th min TRY RABBITOHS to Jonti Morshead-Feildel. He's the on of TV chef Manu Feildel. It is off a good kick to the in goal from Humphries, no Raiders anywhere near the ball. Humphries converts.

24th min TRY RAIDERS to Brayden Darmody, chasing the a good kick from Sam Chapman, cross field. Darmody converts his own try from out wide.

27th min TRY RABBITOHS to winger Charlie Mann. It looked like the looping pass was going out on the full, over Mann's head, but he reaches high, just gets his fingertips to the ball and brings it under control. No conversion from the sideline.

30th min Obvious knock on from the Rabbioths missed. Raiders hooker Mitch Brophy goes off for an HIA we believe, he's fine, Charlie Henderson comes on.

32nd min Great 40/20 kick for the Raiders, we think that's from Jonah Anderson. Raiders winger Izayah Petricevich looked certain to score in the corner, but he loses the ball... and he's injured as he copped knees to the back.

38th min TRY RAIDERS to Brayden Darmody, chasing the kick to the in goal. The Rabbitohs failed to play the ball correctly in their own red zone and that provided the opportunity. Darmody converts his own try from out wide.

46th min TRY RABBITOHS to Matthew Humphries. That's a killer as the Raiders had almost scored at the other end, after a great run from James Croker. They'd gone the length of the field... then Rabbitohs did the same thing... and scored. Humphries converts.

50th min TRY RABBITOHS to winger Charlie Mann in the corner. The Raiders threw a forward pass at the other end of the field, first tackle after a scrum win... then failed to dive on the ball, allowing the Rabbitohs to make a big run. That gave the home team the opportunity. No conversion from the sideline.

56th min TRY RABBITOHS to winger Daniel Wright in the corner. It is off the back of yet another six again call against the Raiders. No conversion.

59th min The Raiders really get away with one there... failed to defuse the kick properly, the ball goes forward to an offside Canberra player.

62nd min TRY RAIDERS to Brayden Darmody. HAT TRICK. The referee was about to award it, had a conference with the touch judge... awarded a penalty to the Rabbitohs for high contact on the South Sydney fullback at the contest for the ball... then has another conference with the touch judge... and awards the try. Never seen anything like it in my life. Darmody converts.

68th min TRY RABBITOHS to Matthew Humphries. He ran wide and just kept running until he scored in the corner. That is a hat trick for the halfback. He converts his own try from the sidelines.

Sadly, that’s season over for the Raiders in SG Ball, the team playing today was probably a year younger than the Rabbitohs. Inexperience showed a bit at times.

10th min TRY RAIDERS to Cooper Johnston. Troy Codey put up a great cross field bomb to set it up. Smart play from Trent Nagel at the kick off. He put his foot over the sideline, and took it on the full. Penalty Raiders on the halfway and that set up the play. Kruger Roache converts from the sideline.
