Walsh ball to Cobbo was miles forward. Unbelievable

And the two x 2m forward passes in the same play? fairgreeneyed wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 9:10 pmI’m detecting quite a lot of bitterness and bias round these here parts.Finchy wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 8:56 pmAbout being a bitter old man?The Nickman wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 5:07 amHe's right you know.Dr Zaius wrote: ↑September 22, 2023, 10:07 pmYeah that's itgreeneyed wrote:Yeah, nah. You sound like a bitter old man, and if this was a team full of Queenslanders based outside of NSW you'd be singing their praises. It's amazing how you bang on about unconscious bias, when virtually every post you make is through the lens of bias towards the Raiders or Queensland.

That was the most forward pass you will ever see

I'm happy for you to tell me how GE. Genuinely curious to know exactly how I'm coming across as bitter. You're carrying on like a petty little man.greeneyed wrote:I’m thinking you’re one who’s showing a good deal.
Two howler forward passes allowed to go for the Broncos there.
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
That's one of the worst missed calls you'll ever see
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
That try from two forward passes has really come at a critical juncture in the game. Four converted tries required.

That first pass was at least 2 metres forward. The touchie has the Broncos at 13 plus.

Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
Really astonishing given the non-forward pass awarded against Egan earlier
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
Backwards out of the hands.Billy Walker wrote:Wow - crazy forward passes
According to Annesley in his Monday review telling us the ball was backwards in comparison to a jet plane flying at Mach 2 directly above the ground.
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
The second was forward too imo, but on replay it was closer than i thoughtgangrenous wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 9:17 pmFTFYBotman wrote:That's two of the worst missed calls you'll ever see
I see a few of those get let go every week
the first is frankly a penalty for a deliberate forward pass.
Absolutely ridiculous
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
Yeah that's fair. Damage has been done though.

Pompey has had an unhappy night

That sin bin came at exactly the same time as in the Raiders’ game against the Broncos at Canberra Stadium.

Didn’t Walsh hurt his knee against us performing a post try celebration? With 20 mins to go till a GF appearance I’d be telling him a handshake is an adequate try celebration at this stage.

I feel dirty saying this, but looks like I will be cheerig for the Panthers next weeks.... unless there is some sort of miracle where the GF gets cancelled altogether.
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
Yeah those balls running at full tilt are often a bit forward but rarely called by the ref.Botman wrote:The second was forward too imo, but on replay it was closer than i thoughtgangrenous wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 9:17 pmFTFYBotman wrote:That's two of the worst missed calls you'll ever see

I don’t understand why you think it’s OK to send these sorts of personal remarks my way.Dr Zaius wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 9:15 pmI'm happy for you to tell me how GE. In any case, your biases against Queensland are well known, so I don’t get why you’re criticising me for being biased and bitter…

Haas has been outstanding but comparatively his influence on the game isn’t as significant as Walsh or Reynolds. Everyone needs a good prop but $1m+? I’m not sold the position justifies it.

You said I'm bitter around these parts. Where in this thread?
Go to this year's origin threads, find me some posts where I'm bitter. You won't, there aren't any. I was pretty scathing of NSW and gave Queensland the credit they were due.. Unlike you. Grow up.

Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
Agreed. Without Walsh they're battling it out for bottom of the 8. He has been incredible this season.Billy Walker wrote:Haas has been outstanding but comparatively his influence on the game isn’t as significant as Walsh or Reynolds. Fair defensive effort this by Broncs - might be closer than I thought next week.
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
You’d normally be screaming “Touchdown” after that Walsh pass.Botman wrote:Yeah you almost never get those... but jesus man, i still cant believe they let that Walsh ball goBJ wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 9:24 pmYeah those balls running at full tilt are often a bit forward but rarely called by the ref.Botman wrote:The second was forward too imo, but on replay it was closer than i thoughtgangrenous wrote: ↑September 23, 2023, 9:17 pmFTFYBotman wrote:That's two of the worst missed calls you'll ever see

I made a comment last night and you got stuck into me, using personal remarks. You carried on like a bitter old man, and I said that you were carrying on like a bitter old man. If that is getting stuck into you then you need to grow thicker skin. So this is going to be a nightmare Grand Final.
Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 3: Teams and Game Day
Well they got more than their share of help tonight, but they played very well, and they've been one of the two best teams all year. Congratulations Brisbane, I hope that Penrith flog you.
