Potential doesn't win games though. Thompson is a better player, who is only 2 years Mooney's senior. We had him on our books and we let him go. I'd rather have Thompson on our books that Mooney now and moving forward.

Continue to be real happy with Mooney's game tonight.
Physical in defence, hard and tough carries where he pushes forward... working hard off the ball with kick chase and decoy runs

Puru was good when he was on, Timoko had some unhappy moments but looked good in the areas you want him to look good and Tapine has dominated. Overall, 10 to go and i'd be thrilled to get out of this now without any injuries. The boys did well.

Really strong efforts from Tarps in a game he could honestly phone in if he wanted. Good example of why he should be our next captain

Wasn't much of a game tbh so very little to take from it. Tapine looked good, looks a bit slimmer. Timoko had a bad night. I didn't even notice Puru was on the field but not much possession. Mooney's defensive contact was better but he also didn't do much.
All in all not much to take from this game.

Tapine was awesome in a team that had no clue in attack. Scored a try, saved a try, got heaps of metres, made some big tackles and his short passing was good too.

Timoko looks fast and strong but had a bit of a Barry.

Trey looked very comfortable with the big boys. Worked hard and looked powerful.

Puru didn’t get much time and was largely unsighted.

Overall, happy with our boys.

Good game, a shame the conditions werent better, could have been a much more exciting game.
But it's good to have some footy back. Itching to get home from the multicultral festival tomorrow and watch the Raiders trail
