Great watching the Tigers get up today.

But seriously I've been watching more and more AFL. They are so far ahead of us it's downright embarrassing. The crowds are unbelievable in size but also from experience better behaved. We could learn a lot from the AFL in terms of marketing the game and controlling the media. If we don't the AFL will be the end of the NRL.

Idk about better behaved lol. They might have less fights, but there’s a significant amount of racism amongst their fans. And personally, I’ll take drunk bogans over **** racists any day

I'm not sure how you gauge that their crowds are better behaved by watching sport in TV. Their PR machine is much better however, which is probably why you believe that their crowds (and players) are better behaved.

Just reading up on the Bomber Thompson news. Absolutely crazy. I don't follow the game but is this one of those things that was reasonably well known?

He'd just bought into the Bells Ice Company. He was joking. He was part owner of a frozen water company.

Terrible for the tigers. To be by far the best team all year and just did not show up last night.

So disappointing not to win the whole thing. Very different feeling to supporting the raiders!
