Also a big thanks to Schifty, what can I say, you're a legend mate. Watch out for the Raiders in 2008, we will do something special, thanks everyone."
How much of that speech did ya edit or how much did ya pay him??
None at all, Woodgers is a top bloke, I decided to keep my integrity and not edit it one bit. After all as Mod of the year I have to se an example. :D

I know that sometimes the Administrators are not that popular! But we always aim to make the best decisions we can, and we really do aim to make The Greenhouse the best Canberra Raiders site on the net.

I've been rapt with the growth of the site this year, and I hope it continues.

And I'd also like to congratulate Schifty, who made the step from moderator to administrator this year... and to Thickos, and to R69.

Without R69, one of the two founders, along with Ed, the site would not exist.
I deserve another award IMO, I don't get no respect round here

You are one of the Immortals Ed... and we will soon have another inductee...

And I remembered you in the speech at least. ;)

The Greenhouse Immortal

OK lads and lasses, if I can cut Val off here for a moment, I'm a bit busy tonight but have managed to spare enough time to announce the next GH Immortal.

This man will join fellow GH Immortals such as Raider_69, Greeneyed, Bay56, Edabomb, PaulQuinn49 and last years inductee - Thickos.

He is a man who has contributed much to The Greenhouse forum and has done al ot for the site, being a little bit intoxicated at the present time, I'm proud to announce that Schifty is the next GH Immortal.

Can we have a standing ovation for the man?!

I will return latter in the evening to announce the Daley C medal winner.

I was standing up to go to the dunny when you announced that award. So since I'm already up, Schifty gets a standing ovation by default.

Shifty you knuckledragger!

Cheers for the funniest event award. I'll somehow take the credit for it. I can't see how that one got up after everyone saw Marko standing next to the bear.....

Anyway...

The Greenhouse Award for Outstanding Service to Charity

This is a very special award, decided upon by the Administrators of The Greenhouse.

This year, The Greenhouse decided to act in support of the club by putting their dollars forward … to the Neil Henry Fund…

The intent was to contribute to the fine the NRL imposed on the coach of the Canberra Raiders… for telling the truth about the standards of refereeing. But I think we all knew – and it was always intended – that the money collected would go to charity.

And so it did.

The members of The Greenhouse collected nearly $2,000 for the Neil Henry Fund, and when it was presented, Neil Henry announced it would be passed on to the Canberra Raiders Senior Leadership Group charity.

So, the special Greenhouse Award for Charity goes to those in the Raiders Army who organised it…

Woodgers, Leethal, Loz and all those who helped and contributed...
